General Questions
Yes. Eclips3 Painting & Cabinet Refinishing is a family owned and operated company, in business since 2006, fully licensed and insured. We are happy to show you proof any time you ask.
We work across the whole Chicago metro area. We are based in Orland Park, so the south and west suburbs are a short drive, but we travel throughout the metro.

Yes. We also do bathroom vanities, kitchen islands, built-in shelving, bookshelves and pantry cabinetry. We do not refinish furniture.

Cabinet Refinishing & Resurfacing
We spray. We use a premium Italian 2K paint, which lays down smooth and holds up to daily kitchen use far better than a brushed finish.
Doors and drawer fronts come off and are sprayed at our shop. The cabinet boxes and frames are prepped and sprayed in your kitchen. We put up plastic walls around the work area and use commercial fans to pull the dust out.
Most kitchens take 5 to 9 days from start to finish. Very large kitchens can take 10 to 12 days.
It depends on the size of your kitchen and how many doors and drawer fronts you have. Kitchens start at around $2,800, a large kitchen can run $11,000 or more, and most kitchens land between $3,500 and $6,500. We give you a firm written price at your free estimate, or text us photos for a same-day ballpark.
For most of the project, yes. Your cabinet boxes stay in place and we work around you, so you keep using the kitchen through most of the job.
Most of the time, yes. We usually ask you to empty your cabinets before we start.
No, we do not paint the inside of the cabinets. We paint the doors, the drawer fronts, and the outside of the cabinet boxes and frames.
Countertops, floors and appliances are covered before anything starts, and we sweep and vacuum at the end of every work day.
Any color you want. We are not limited to a sample book — if you have a color in mind, we can match it.
No paint is indestructible, but we use a premium Italian paint that gives your cabinets great durability. If you take care of your cabinets, they will last for many years.
Clean them with water and a bit of soap. Do not let food or coffee sit on them for a long time. Even though the paint is really durable, it can be damaged if it is not properly taken care of.
Cabinet Door Replacement & Refacing
Refinishing and painting mean we keep your doors and give everything a new finish. Refacing means new custom doors and drawer fronts with new hinges and slides, while your cabinet bases and frames are refinished on site. We do not use veneer.
About 3 to 5 days of work in your home. Your new doors are custom made, which takes about a month, and they are painted at our shop and brought to you ready to install.
Yes. New doors come in different door styles, and we can paint them any color you want. They are painted at our shop and brought to you ready to install.
It depends on the size of your kitchen, how many doors and drawer fronts you have, the door style, and any changes or new cabinets you want. We give you a firm written price after we measure in person, or text us photos for a same-day ballpark.
House Painting
Yes. We do interior and exterior painting for both homes and businesses.
It depends on the type of project. We look at the job and give you a timeline at your free estimate.
Cabinet Modifications & Alterations
Usually, yes. We can add, modify, replace or remove cabinets, take out the cabinet over the fridge, add or remove one over the stove, adjust corner cabinets, turn a cabinet into a hidden trash pull-out, add shelves and storage, or add pantry cabinetry.
Yes. Along with adding, removing or changing cabinets, we build new kitchen islands and put in new kitchen hoods and crown molding.
Hardware Updates: Hinges & Pull-Out Trash Cans
Yes. New hinges, including soft-close, are something we do on their own or as part of a bigger job.
Yes. We can turn one of your cabinets into a hidden pull-out trash can, so the garbage is out of sight but easy to reach.
House Cleaning Service: Residential & Commercial
Yes. We offer residential and commercial cleaning, for homes as well as offices and businesses.
For homes we do standard cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in and move-out cleaning, and cleaning after construction. For businesses we clean offices and commercial spaces.
